Do they actually stick?
Yes — once warm. Beeswax is firm below body temperature, which is why wraps “that don’t stick” were almost always used cold. Hold it in your hands for ten seconds, then press the edges. If yours doesn’t seal, we refund you within 30 days.
What about the smell?
A mild honey scent — that’s how you know it’s real beeswax. Paraffin smells like crayons. It fades over the first few days and doesn’t get into food.
How do I clean it, and is that hygienic?
Cool water and a drop of mild soap, then air dry. That’s why they’re for bread, cheese, produce and leftovers — not raw meat or fish, which need the hot water we can’t use.
How long do they last?
About a year of daily use. When the tack fades, the refresh stick re-waxes it. We won’t say “lifetime” because it isn’t true.
Is it really beeswax?
Three checks you can do at home: it smells of honey, not crayons; it’s firm cold and pliable warm; and it floats in water. Paraffin and plastic blends fail all three.
